Marlis Petersen Spawn is the Finance Director/Chief Financial Officer at Gonzaga Preparatory School in Spokane, WA. Marlis was licensed as a certified public accountant for twenty four years. She was previously the Director of Accounting and Finance for Spokane Teachers Credit Union, responsible for asset liability management, budgeting, management of liquidity and the investment portfolio. Other experience includes CFO of IT-Lifeline, a technology start up company in Liberty Lake, WA and nine years in public accounting performing tax and audit services.
Marlis served on the Board of Directors of Northwest Farm Credit Services, ACA, an $8 billion agricultural lender serving Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Alaska, including five years as the Audit Committee Chair and designated financial expert. Marlis served also on the Board of Directors of Spokane Teachers Credit Union.
She earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from Gonzaga University and a Masters in Business Administration from Seattle University.
